The Purpose of life
What is the purpose of life? Most of us often ponder over this
question especially when we are faced with an obstacle or unfortunate event in our life.
Whatever you have done and learned in your life so far is
never in vain. I have learned that and I am amazed by life’s serendipity. Our life’s purpose lies in our
experience and life skills. Remembering the days when I doggedly attended marketing classes with the desire
to have a career in this industry. The job availability always managed to evade my horizon. Little would I
know that 15 years after getting my marketing qualifications, I will be using the skills in my internet
business.
Sometimes we don’t get immediate results from what we set
out to achieve. In fact, your success could come from another angle of your skill and experience. Take for
example; you worked for a boss that is very organised and meticulous. You may feel frustrated whilst you were
working there. However, you have also inculcated that skill of organisation which you subconsciously carried
forward to your next job.
The purpose of life is never stopping, always learning and
absorbing new experience. The gardening course you took for leisure could be your key to being an expert
landscaper and getting to know someone from another country could be the road leading to a new life. And all
you wanted to do is to help an elderly neighbour with her shopping and you end up starting a social
enterprise.
A negative event could also be significant to your life's
purpose. Whether you learn and adjust to get out of the negative situation or learned to avoid similar
negative incident, the experience will served a purpose to your success in life.
Keep an open mind about the events happening in your life.
Remember, be it good or bad, your life experiences and skills are never in vain. As long as your intention is
good, you will find your real life’s purpose. That's the serendipity of life.
